Brand – the ideal starting point
The village fire is the center of the valley and the perfect starting point for summer activities. The village railway starts right in the center, quickly taking you to the hiking area. Directly opposite is the Hotel Valavier – convenient for anyone who wants to stay right next to the train station. In Brand itself, you'll find restaurants, cafés, and shops, so you'll have everything you need for your stay.

With the village train on theme trails & viewpoints
The Village railway For us, it's the perfect introduction to the mountains. At the top, family-friendly trails await, such as the Barefoot Trail and the Animal World Trail, which teach nature in a playful way. Those who prefer something a little quieter can hike toward Burtschaberg: From there, you'll enjoy a magnificent view over the entire valley, especially beautiful at sunset. This is a wonderful way to combine adventure and panorama.

Palüdbahn and sunny mountain trails
On the western edge of the town, the Palüdbahn at over 1,600 meters. It opens up a sunny high plateau with diverse hiking trails. Particularly attractive are the tours to the surrounding alpine pastures, where fresh dairy products and traditional dishes await you in summer. Those looking for action will find the climbing park right next to the mountain station, offering fun for children and adults alike.

At the end of the valley lies the famous Lünersee, which shows off its most beautiful side in summer. The Lünerseebahn cable car takes you up to the top in just a few minutes, and the first view of the turquoise-blue lake is breathtaking. A lap around the lake takes about two hours and is suitable for almost all fitness levels. Those with sporting ambitions can also climb Schesaplana from here. Our tip: start as early as possible, when the lake is still quiet.
