Our Alpenhof in Filzmoos is a classic 4-star hotel in Salzburger LandLocated at the foot of the Bischofsmütze, we are happy to fulfill hikers' every wish. Every day, our hiking guides take you on one of our wonderful Alpine pastures in the Filzmoos hiking area. Then it's off to the 1000 m2 pond, the heated outdoor pool or you can relax with homemade cakes and coffee.

Our rock pool
The heart of the complex. Our indoor pool, measuring around 60 m² and with a water temperature of 29 degrees Celsius, is designed to make our guests feel really comfortable. The indoor pool is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
In the characterfully furnished bathroom, a water jet, massage jets and a counter-current system ensure an enjoyable experience.
For those who like things a little more lively, our whirlpool is ready for bubbling pleasures. Or you can live healthily with our Kneipp spring - fresh water flows from a bubbling alpine spring to the indoor Kneipp facility.

Our outdoor pool
After a fulfilling winter day on the slopes or on a hike, our water park awaits you with a new highlight: OUR HEATED OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL!
From the indoor pool you enter the lock area, immerse yourself in 31 degree warm Grander water (from our own spring) and swim through an automatic door into the outdoor pool. At 17×6 m, it is also suitable for sporty swimmers.
Winter, sun and snow – and you in the middle of it all in a warm pool! What could be better?
And in summer, the outdoor pool closes every day at 10 p.m. with a brilliant light and water show – good night.
Until everyone meets again at the outdoor pool at 7:00 a.m.
MOUNTAIN AND HIKING EXPERIENCE
Summer in the hiking paradise. Idyllic. The flower meadows. The alpine pastures.
In the Premium hiking hotel Alpenhof you are in good hands during your summer vacation. With daily guided hikes, the Bergfex regulars' table for your tour planning and the stop of the free hiking bus in front of the door.
Then it goes into the pool – there is nothing better after an invigorating hike.
In the evening you will visit Julia at Kaiserschmarrentratsch, distill your own schnapps with Michael or listen to stories about the area on a fairytale walk. When the outdoor pool ends with the water show – it was a beautiful day!

Small but nice. In the middle of Ski Amadé, Filzmoos Ski and the Filzmoos-Neuberg ski area offers everything your heart desires.
Perfectly groomed slopes of all levels of difficulty and a great ski area for the whole family offer you the opportunity to experience a great winter and ski holiday in Filzmoos. Modern lifts guarantee transport without waiting times. And three ski schools ensure the best care for everyone who wants to learn to ski.
Or you can take the Filzmoos ski bus – the stop is in front of the house.
The access to the Filzmoos-Neuberg ski area is right next to the house. Either with the Geierberg lift, a beautiful natural snow slope. You can ski directly from the house to Filzmoos and back again.

The Walchhofer family and their team at the Alpenhof Filzmoos ensure the well-being of their guests with their warm hospitality. Wine tasting, schnapps tasting or cooking Kaiserschmarren is held with the host family. In the evening, the 4-course menu leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel offers half board+ with a generous breakfast buffet, a lunchtime soup, coffee and cake as mentioned in the 4-course menu.
