Visitors can swim in the clear lake, soak up the sun on the surrounding lawns, or try water sports such as boating, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. With its designated bathing areas, the lake is a safe place to swim and splash around.
There are a variety of hiking trails and nature trails around Gleinkersee, allowing visitors to explore the beauty of the surrounding area. From easy walks to more challenging hikes, there is a route to suit every taste and fitness level. The hikes offer breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. We can highly recommend the walk around the lakeThis is a very flat walk and takes about half an hour to three quarters of an hour. During the entire walk you have a wonderful view of the lake.
Directly by the lake is the Gasthaus Seebauerwhere visitors can enjoy regional specialties and international cuisine. From traditional Austrian dishes to modern culinary creations, there is something for every palate.
There is a children's playground right in front of the restaurant, so you can comfortably watch your children.
