Adventure right on your doorstep
Open the door and go! Directly behind the Knappenhof begins the Törlweg, one of the most popular ascents on the Rax to the Ottohaus. The Höllental valley with its spectacular paths, climbing routes for beginners such as the Gustav Jahn Steig, or high alpine, spectacular climbing routes for advanced climbers such as the Hans von Haid Steig are just a few minutes away by car. And for those who want to take it a little easier, the sunbathing lawn with a new outdoor pool or the small wellness area with sauna and steam bath invite you to let the day pass by in complete relaxation.

In terms of cuisine, head chef Tomaž Fink and his team take guests on a journey from the past to the present, through forest and meadow. The focus on regional specialties and local herbs runs like a culinary thread through the kitchen line - in the gourmet menu and the inn menu.
Celebrating at the Knappenhof
The restaurant, 28 guest rooms, 2 seminar rooms and a small chapel offer the perfect setting for celebrations and events of all kinds - with personal service, regional dishes and a lovely ambience surrounded by forest and meadow. Weddings can also be held at the Knappenhof. For up to 80 people, it is best to book the whole house!
