What you can expect at the Maisi Flitzer
The toboggan run starts directly at the valley station of the MK Maiskogelbahn cable car in the Kaprun Center. A small lift pulls you and your toboggan 730 meters up before the descent begins. The 1,300-meter ride takes you through curves, roundabouts, bridges, jumps, diagonal support carousels, and waves – you control your speed with the brake lever. The ride lasts about 12 minutes, and the maximum speed is limited to 40 km/h.
The track is well-secured and suitable for children and adults alike. Children ages 3 and up are allowed to ride when accompanied by an adult. The highest point is 11 meters above the ground. A photo point is available to capture your ride upon request.
Year-round driving fun
The Maisi Flitzer is open in both summer and winter – weather permitting. Whether as a change of pace after hiking or as a post-ski activity, the lift offers year-round action for the whole family.
Tip: Unfortunately, the Maisi Flitzer was closed during our visit. So check beforehand if you're heading there specifically for that reason.
