Minimundus is a miniature park in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee in Carinthia and shows 159 miniature models from 40 countries of famous buildings, ships and trains from all continents on an area of 26,000 m². The models are usually shown on a scale of 1:25.
You might think that this is mainly something for children, but you are far from it. The detailed buildings are worth seeing for young and old. Here you can see, for example, the St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Taj Mahal, Tower Bridge, the Eiffel Tower, St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican, the Hochosterwitz Castle, the Ferris wheel, Cape Canaveral, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and many other buildings that may not be well known to everyone. While the adults read the information boards of the well-marked objects, the children chase the steam locomotives.
In between, you can have a bite to eat in the restaurant. Entry costs just under €20 and you can park in the spacious car park right in front.
In addition to the impressive exhibition, Minimundus also offers numerous activities for families. Children can have fun on the adventure playground or take a ride on the miniature railway explore the park.
