Motorikarena Wels

The Motorikarena Wels, which opened in autumn 2024, offers numerous training stations on an area of over 6,000 m² aimed at improving motor skills. The stations are suitable for all age groups and include exercises to promote balance, coordination, strength and dexterity.

Visitors can use the stations individually or in groups. The stations on offer include a coordination course, stretching squares and barefoot paths to promote sensorimotor skills. These stations are designed to challenge not only children but also adults and encourage them to have fun while exercising.

Examples:

  • Dehn square: An area for stretching and extending the major muscle groups.
  • Sensorimotor pathway: A barefoot path that trained perception through the soles of the feet.
  • coordination course: An obstacle course that required whole-body coordination.
  • Waterski House: A station where you practiced your balance on a wobbly surface.
  • Brain twister: A coordination game in which different discs had to be turned.
  • Target throw return: Throwing station, where tricky tasks can be mastered with skill and ability and at the same time throwing skills are developed
  • standing rope swing: Large swing frame with a thick rope on which several users can swing while standing at the same time.

Pumptrack Wels: The track for cyclists and skaters

The Wels Pumptrack is a specially designed track with waves and curves that is suitable for cyclists, skaters and scooter riders. The track uses the "pumping technique", where riders can build up speed through targeted body movements without having to pedal.

The pump track is located right next to the Motorikarena and is also free to access. The track is suitable for both beginners and advanced riders and provides fun and exercise outdoors.
