The Skywalk in the Hohe Wand Nature Park: A breathtaking panorama

This viewing terrace “Skywalk” is in Hohe Wand Nature Park It is built into the rock and offers an impressive view into the depths and over the Vienna Alps. When the weather is good you can see as far as Lake Neusiedl, although it was a bit hazy when we visited.

  • Where is it located? 1 hour by car south of Vienna; Nature Park Center, Kleine Kanzelstraße 241, 2724 Hohe Wand
  • How much is admission? Adults € 4.50, children (3–15 years) € 2,-, 1x free entry with the NÖ Card, Dogs on leash allowed. Here you will find all pricesThe toll fee has been included since 2023.
  • Where can I get tickets? You can get the Hohe Wand Nature Park entrance ticket at the Nature Park Centre, at the Skywalk ticket machine (card payment) or you can buy the Ticket online.
  • opening hours: 365 days a year, summer time (May to September) 7am-6pm, winter time (October-April) 8am-5pm

The Skywalk in the Hohe Wand Nature Park not only offers an impressive panorama, but also an exciting experience for anyone who has a head for heights. The platform is built into the rock and its grating offers a direct view into the depths. If you look down here, you may see climbers on the rock faces. The feeling of floating above the landscape makes the Skywalk a special experience. Thanks to its solid construction, the platform is safe and also suitable for children.

In addition to the breathtaking view, there are several seating areas and spacious green areas in the area, which are perfect for a picnic. The quiet atmosphere and the wide view of nature invite you to linger. If you are hungry after your trip, the Alpengasthof Postl just 3 minutes' walk away. Here you can end the day with a regional meal.

The Skywalk is an ideal place for anyone who wants to enjoy spectacular views and a little adventure in nature.
