The pool has a capacity of around 10,000 people, with up to 270,000 bathers per season. With its modern facilities and a wealth of leisure options, the Schafbergbad is a popular place to spend hot summer days in the Austrian capital. With an area of around 70,000 m², the grounds of the Schafbergbad, similar to the Döblinger Krapfenwaldlbad, offer breathtaking views of the city of Vienna due to its elevated location.

Directions to the Schafbergbad

There are parking spaces in the area and the Schafbergbad car park, but these can be quite scarce on hot summer days. Bus 42A (stop “Schafberg Werfelstraße”) stops directly in front of the pool.

What does the bathroom offer

There are a total of four swimming pools in the pool, each of which symbolizes its own level of warmth through its choice of tiles. Cool water awaits visitors in the blue pool, followed by the yellow and orange pools. For the youngest bathers, the red children's pool offers the most pleasant and warmest water.
