Advent Market at Schönbrunn Palace: Festive atmosphere with new attractions
The Advent market in front of Schönbrunn Palace has been presented in an expanded form since 2024 and offers visitors a diverse experience in an imperial setting. Over 90 stalls invite you to discover traditional handicrafts and culinary specialties.
A special highlight is the innovative ice skating rink, which offers winter fun for both children and adults. Children up to 14 years of age can skate for free from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; after that, admission is 3 euros. For people over 15, the price is 6 euros.
In addition, a nostalgic Ferris wheel, a historic carousel and a children's railway ensure that children's eyes light up. In the "wooden circus" craft hut, the youngest children can let their creativity run wild.
The Advent market is open from November 8, 2024 to January 6, 2025. Opening hours are daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; on December 24, the market closes at 4:00 p.m., and from December 25 to January 6, it is open until 7:00 p.m.
