Ski Amadé in general

Ski Amadé represents one of the largest winter sports areas in Europe and impresses with an impressive infrastructure of a total of 270 ski lifts and cable cars. The region extends over 25 towns, all embedded in the picturesque landscapes of the Austrian federal states of Salzburg and Styria. In addition to these two regions, the ski area on the Dachstein also plays a role, whose influence extends into the federal state of Upper Austria. The diversity of Ski Amadé is reflected not only in the numerous skiing options, but also in the authentic Alpine scenery that attracts winter sports enthusiasts from all over the world.

Ski Amadé and its partner regions jointly manage around 760 kilometers of slopes, which extend over 356 different slopes. Of this total network, 90 % or 684 kilometers are suitable for artificial snowmaking. The infrastructure includes a total of 270 lifts and cable cars, including 47 gondola lifts, 90 chairlifts, 81 drag lifts and 52 practice lifts. This diverse range of ascent options offers a total transport capacity of an impressive 365,000 people per hour.

The heart of the Schladming-Dachstein ski region is the so-called 4-mountain ski circuit. It connects the ski mountains Planai, Hochwurzen, Reiteralm Hauser Kaibling and the surrounding area form a continuous ski region without ski buses or interruptions. Hochwurzen, 1850m
