The SPA water world in the TAUERN SPA extends over more than 20,000 m² and offers a comprehensive range of activities for all those seeking relaxation, exercise, or swimming fun. The pool area is very spacious, both inside and out, with numerous Relaxation areas, panoramic views and ample lounge areas for all guests.

Sauna world & general SPA area

In addition to the water world, the TAUERN SPA also offers a spacious sauna area, which is open to all day guests. There are several saunas with different temperatures and humidity levels to choose from – including a Finnish sauna, one Organic herbal sauna, a Salt water steam bath and a Alpine sauna in the outdoor area with changing infusions. The regularly held Show infusions, where sauna masters provide special experiences with scents and music.

In addition, there is cold water pool, a plunge pool, several stylishly designed relaxation rooms as well as a infrared cabin. If you want to take a break between sauna sessions, you will find in the adjoining Relax! Lounge and plenty of space to relax on the numerous loungers both indoors and outdoors.

From the cozy wood-burning sauna at TAUERN SPA Kaprun, you can gaze out the window at snow-capped mountains under a cloudy sky. Inside, stones and large crystals surround the heating element, while a lawn and fence complete this tranquil alpine retreat.

Our experience: Relax! Day Trip Deluxe

We booked the "Relax! Day Trip Deluxe" package (packages start at €90) – a real recommendation for anyone seeking a complete, carefree experience. You'll receive a warm welcome as soon as you enter the spa. At reception, you'll receive a loaner bathrobe, a large bath towel, and a spa bag – everything you need is included. In the exclusive relaxation room, "Stone pine forest“ are loungers for you reserved in advance, which is particularly pleasant since the regular spa zone is quite livelier.

Breakfast at the hotel: The perfect start to the day

The day begins with a Vital breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant Lichtblick (9:00–11:00 a.m.), also included in the package. The selection is extensive and the quality is excellent – from fresh fruit and egg dishes to pastries, juices, and regional specialties. It's the ideal way to start your wellness day in a relaxed manner.

Snacks, rest & little extras

In the exclusive relaxation area, you are well looked after throughout the day. In the morning and afternoon, healthy snacks such as yogurt, hummus, fresh fruit, nuts and juices.
