Our Alpenhof in Filzmoos is a classic 4-star hotel in Salzburger Land. Situated at the foot of the Bischofsmütze, we are happy to fulfil every wish of hikers. Every day, our hiking guides will take you on one of our marvellous Alpine pastures in the Filzmoos hiking area. Then it's off to the 1000 m2 pondthe heated outdoor pool or relax with homemade cakes and coffee.

Our rock pool
The centrepiece of the resort. Our indoor pool with a size of approx. 60 m² and a water temperature of 29 degrees Celsius is designed to make our guests feel really good. The indoor pool is open daily from 07:00 - 22:00.
In the characterfully furnished bath, a water jet, massage jets and a counter-current system ensure an enjoyable experience.
For all those who like it a little more lively, our whirlpool is ready for bubbly pleasures. Or you can live healthily with our Kneipp spring - fresh water flows from a bubbling Alpine spring to the indoor Kneipp facility.

Our outdoor pool
After a fulfilling winter's day on the piste or on a hike, our Wasserland awaits you with a new highlight: OUR HEATED OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL!
From the indoor pool, you enter the sluice area, immerse yourself in 31-degree Grander water (from our own spring) and swim through an automatic door into the outdoor pool. At 17×6 metres, it is also suitable for sporty swimmers.
Winter, sun and snow - and you in the middle of it all in a warm pool! What could be better?
And in summer, the outdoor pool bids farewell every day at 22:00 with a brilliant light and water show - good night.
Until everyone meets up again at the outdoor pool at 07:00 in the morning.
MOUNTAIN AND HIKING EXPERIENCE

In the Premium hiking hotel Alpenhof you are in good hands on your summer holiday. With daily guided hikesthe Bergfex regulars' table for your tour planning and the stop of the Free hiking bus in front of the door.
After that off to the pool - There's nothing better after an invigorating hike.
In the evening you will visit Julia at the Kaiserschmarrentratschdistil their own schnapps with Michael or listen to stories about the area on a legend walk. Then, when the outdoor pool with the water show says goodbye It was a great day!
ALPENHOF FILZMOOS IN WINTER
Small - but nice. In the centre of Ski Amadé offers you Filzmoos Ski and the Filzmoos-Neuberg ski area offer everything your heart desires.
Perfectly groomed pistes of all levels of difficulty and a great ski area for the whole family offer you the opportunity to experience a great winter and skiing holiday in Filzmoos. Modern lift facilities guarantee transport without waiting times. And three ski schools provide the best supervision for all those who want to learn to ski.
Or you can take the Filzmoos ski bus - the bus stop is in front of the house.
Access to the Filzmoos-Neuberg ski area is right next to the house. Either with the Geierberg lift, a wonderful natural snow slope. You can ski directly from the house to Filzmoos and back again.

The Walchhofer family and their team at the Alpenhof Filzmoos look after their guests with their warm hospitality. Wine tasting, schnapps tasting or Kaiserschmarren cooking is organised with the host family. In the evening, the 4-course menu leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel offers half-board+ with a generous breakfast buffet, lunch soup, coffee and cake as well as a 4-course menu.
