Natural Beauty at Astberg: The Enchanting Astbergsee
The lake is gaining popularity on Instagram. Many have seen the bench by the mirrored lake (and wondered why it’s upside down). The view of the Wilder Kaiser is breathtaking.

Tip: Start early in the morning or late in the evening when it’s calmest and you get a beautiful reflection. Also, there aren’t as many people posing on the bench.
More: In summer, the 20 ponies of Astberg Pony Alm look forward to numerous visitors. In winter, enjoy the 4.5km long sled run, which is also illuminated at night.
There are also three restaurants at Astberg: Blattlalm, Brenner Alm, and Treichlhof.
