Circumnavigating the lake
We start in Bad Ischl and arrive at Schwarzensee at around 10:00 a.m. At the end of November we are the first car. We buy a parking ticket from the machine for €2.50. We want to walk our tour anti-clockwise. The path is asphalted and goes slightly downhill and is therefore easy with the stroller to manage something.
After just a few meters you have the first beautiful view of the lake. Unfortunately, it is quite overcast during our visit. Let's hope the sun comes out. After half an hour of continuous walking downhill, you reach the opposite side of the lake.
From here we continue to the right towards Moosalm or Attersee. However, we want to go around the lake on the left. Now we continue on a forest road. However, strollers can still be pushed on the flat road without any problem. We now continue straight along the lake through the beautiful autumn forest.
Towards the end of our tour we finally reach the Alpine Restaurant “To the Lore” Schwarzensee. Here we treat ourselves to a cheese dumpling and a meat strudel soup. For the main course we have a Surbratl. Since everything tastes so excellent, we order a plum cake for dessert, which also exceeds our expectations.
The last 5 minutes of the tour are a slight uphill walk to the inn and the parking lot. about 1 hour walking time we circled the lake.
The sun has come out now, so we walk another few hundred meters to the beautiful viewpoint. In our opinion, you have the best view of the lake from here, as you look down from above. What a view!
