When we arrive at 9:30, everything is still deserted and we can get into the gondola without having to queue. From the start, you have a wonderful view of Riezlern and the rest of Kleinwalsertal. After just over 10 minutes we arrive at the mountain station.
Numerous family-friendly hikesIn winter, winter sports enthusiasts in the Fellhorn/Kanzelwand ski area have a total of 36 kilometres of slopes available.
With the Burmiwasser Adventure Trail The little mountain hikers in summer were also thought of. A variety of play stations line the route from the mountain station of the Kanzelwandbahn to the Riezler Alpsee. For experienced mountaineers and climbers, the two-country via ferrata on the Kanzelwand is a paradise without borders.
We first go right to the Panorama restaurant or Hammerspitzbar at the mountain station of the Kanzelwandbahn. From the sun terrace you have an incredibly beautiful view of the valley. Just stop and enjoy.
It is almost even more beautiful on the other side of the Kanzelwandbahn, where the Burmiwasser adventure trail also leads off. Here you have a great view of the Riezler Alpsee.
In summer we can recommend the valley descent to Riezlern over the Zwerenalpe. This starts at the mountain station, from where a hiking trail leads to a mountain saddle. Here it is worth taking a panoramic view of the Fellhorn area and thus of neighboring Germany, before continuing towards the Zwerenalpe and a bit along the stream. After Riezlern The walk down takes about 2.5 hours in total.
