The Liechtenstein Gorge is approx. 4000 meters long, 1000 meters of which are accessible to visitors. The rocks are up to 300 meters deep. In some places the gorge is only a few meters wide. The gorge can be visited via wooden walkways, which are constantly monitored and maintained for their safety.
There is a waterfall at the end of the gorge. The gorge is closed in the winter months. It was last visited by around 220,000 people each year, making it the most popular holiday destination in Pongau.
