Directions, Parking, and Cable Car
You can easily reach the valley station of the Stubnerkogel cable car by car via the federal highway B167. Ample parking is available. The cable car, which takes you to the summit in just a few minutes, operates daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Right next to it is also the Bad Gastein train station.

The 140-meter-long suspension bridge in Bad Gastein elegantly swings 28 meters above the ground and offers the opportunity for an impressive walk throughout the year. This bridge is not only a place for unforgettable moments but also a popular spot for photographers.
Glocknerblick
Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein fascinates with its breathtaking panoramic views, which reach their peak at the “Glocknerblick” viewing platform. Even experienced alpinists are impressed by this spot, which not only offers a magnificent view of the Grossglockner but also of other imposing peaks such as the Watzmann, the Dachstein, and the Hochkönig. In the ski resort, there are various dining options available that offer visitors culinary delights amidst the breathtaking mountain landscape. A prominent example is the “Gipfelrestaurant Stubner,” located directly at the mountain station of the Stubnerkogel cable car. This restaurant is situated at an altitude of 2,230 meters and offers not only a magnificent mountain panorama but also a cozy ambiance.
