Swimming and relaxing at Wengsee
The Wengsee offers clear, fresh water directly from the mountains and invites you to swim.
When we visited in mid-July it was 22 degrees.
The water quality is excellent and is checked regularly. There are spacious lawns around the lake that invite you to sunbathe and relax. For the younger guests, there is a water slide and a diving tower that provide additional fun.
But the mountain scenery is truly breathtaking. It's hard to imagine a more beautiful place to swim.
Sports and activities
In addition to swimming, the Wengsee leisure complex also offers numerous sports opportunities. A beach volleyball court and a soccer field are available to visitors. The surrounding hiking trails are ideal for walks and hikes, offering wonderful views of the Alpine landscape.
Playgrounds and family activities
For families with children, there are several well-equipped playgrounds that invite them to climb, swing and play. The playgrounds are safe and well maintained, so parents don't have to worry. The lake has its own, separate, shallower children's area with gravel.
Gastronomy by the lake
The Seealmstüberl, located directly on the Wengsee, takes care of the physical well-being of visitors. Here you can enjoy regional specialties and refreshments while enjoying the view of the lake and the surrounding mountain landscape. There are also picnic areas where you can eat the food you have brought with you.
