Seefeld as a town and region
The town of Seefeld is located on a sunny plateau at an altitude of 1,200 m, framed by mountains and opening to the south. The region consists of five idyllic villages – Seefeld, Leutasch, Mösern, Reith, and Scharnitz – each offering its own unique stories and experiences. Between mountains and valleys, forests and meadows, vacationers will find an extraordinary variety of natural experiences. Thanks to this location, Seefeld is ideal for both relaxing walks around the town and sporting activities such as hiking, cycling, or skiing. The plateau is also easily accessible and offers numerous opportunities for day trips.

The wellness and vitality oasis, as well as the proximity to hiking trails and attractions, make the resort the ideal base for families.
Seekirchl (Holy Cross Church)
The SeekirchlThe Holy Cross Church, also known as the Church of the Holy Cross, is Seefeld's famous landmark. It houses an old cross whose history dates back to 1628. The Baroque chapel was originally built in the artificially created Kreuzsee, which was drained in 1808. Its construction dates back to a vow made by Archduke Leopold V, who was inspired by the miraculous power of the cross to build a chapel; it was consecrated in 1666. Its octagonal floor plan with a column-free dome and bell tower is remarkable, a rare architectural example in Tyrol.
