The valley station is in the town (near the parking lots) and takes visitors to the mountain station near the platform in just a few minutes. Entry to the Skywalk is free, regardless of whether you take the Salzbergbahn cable car or hike up. Here you will find all prices. The platform is always open.

The Dammwiese in Hallstatt offers a picturesque panoramic view of the town and Lake Hallstatt. It is located along the "Aufsatzweg" (Embankment Trail) and is a popular photo spot. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great during our visit, and detailed shots were difficult without a telephoto lens. For the journey, we recommend Hallstatt to park and follow the signposted hiking trail to Dammwiese.
