The Dragon Lake is a very popular destination in the Tyrolean municipality of Ehrwald. With its unique blue-turquoise shimmer, it emerges from a former glacier tavern. From the mountain station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn, a relatively easy climb of 500 meters in altitude awaits you, first to the Seebensee. From there, it goes steadily uphill over rocky serpentines. The most difficult part of the hike is overcome after about 40 minutes and you reach the Corburg Hut with a direct view of the Drachensee. Tyrolean Gröst'l and Kaiserschmarren sweeten your stay with a panoramic view at the hut.
Walking time approx: 2.5 hours. The hiking trail passes through a fantastic natural spectacle. Nature can be enjoyed to the fullest.
