The Skywalk in the Hohe Wand Nature Park: a breathtaking panorama
This panoramic terrace "Skywalk" is in the Hohe Wand Nature Park situated. It is built into the rock and offers an impressive view into the depths and over the Viennese Alps. In good weather, you can see as far as Lake Neusiedl, although it was a little hazy when we visited.

- Where is it located? 1h by car south of Vienna; Nature Park Centre, Kleine Kanzelstraße 241, 2724 Hohe Wand
- How much is the entrance fee? Adults € 4,50, children (3- 15 years) € 2,-, 1x free admission with the Lower Austria CardDogs allowed on a lead. Here you can find all prices. The toll has been included since 2023.
- Where can I get tickets? You can get the Hohe Wand Nature Park entrance ticket at the Nature Park Centre, at the Skywalk ticket machine (card payment) or you can buy the Ticket online.
- Opening hours365 days a year, summer time (May to September) 7am to 6pm, winter time (October to April) 8am to 5pm
Incidentally, the platform is not for those with a head for heights, as you can see down through the grating. While taking photos, we even spotted climbers below us. However, nothing can happen, the platform is also secured for children.
There are several seating areas and plenty of green space for a nice picnic. The car park and the "Alpengasthof Postl".
