These houses are probably photographed even more often than the Golden Roof. They are located directly on the Inn next to the Inn Bridge. The concrete bridge connects the magnificent old town of Innsbruck with the oldest part of the city, Mariahilf - St. Nikolaus. It is best to photograph it from the side of the old town, as you have the imposing mountain range in the background. Unfortunately, you also have to be a bit lucky here. The most beautiful photos can be taken when the sky is clear and the water shimmers blue. But rain clouds can obscure the mountains and the river can also be churned up with mud - as was the case on our second visit. At least we can console ourselves with the nice Hamburg market, which takes place here once a year. And luckily we were here last year when the weather was nice.
