The museum is mainly dedicated to the history as well as the exhibition and presentation of finds from the fort and civilian settlement.
On display are 10 short animations in comic style, extraordinary tin figure dioramas that tell the military history of Tulln, and life-size figurines that illustrate Roman civilian and military clothing and various activities of the garrison troops.
A large number of finds from civilian settlements and graves (glasses, jewellery, ceramics, inscriptions, remains of tombs, a large hoard of coins) complement this comprehensive exhibition.
