One of the most spectacular viewing platforms in the Alps is the unique Skywalk on the Dachstein.
Under your feet: the 250 metre vertical rock face of the Hunerkogel - and you don't have to climb it on a via ferrata. No: it can be experienced by everyone without any effort thanks to the unique glass platform, the Dachstein Sky Walk. All around you: an unrivalled mountain panorama.
On cloudless days, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Hohe Tauern and as far as Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
The 40-tonne steel structure can withstand wind speeds of 210 km/h, can carry snow loads of up to 8 metres and is designed for 150 people. The platform has a total length of 17 metres, the last four metres of which protrude over the edge of the cliff.
