General
The mushroom trail in Rohrmoos Schladming proves to be an impressive destination for nature lovers. This special trail not only offers a picturesque setting but also a fascinating variety of mushrooms that captivates curious explorers of all ages.
The path is easy to manage, but we don't think it's really suitable for a stroller.
Along the way there are educational stationswhich are not only informative, but also promote understanding of the importance of mushrooms in the forest in a playful way. The Mushroom Trail is an ideal opportunity for families in particular to explore nature together and learn a lot about the local flora.
Even children show enthusiasm, as they can easily distinguish between edible, inedible and poisonous mushrooms. Our four-year-old was the first to point out to us that some mushrooms are marked with a knife and fork, while others have, as he puts it, a "spit face".
The trail also has a few surprises in store for hiking enthusiasts. The combination of an educational route and idyllic nature makes every step an experience. A visit during mushroom season is particularly recommended, when the trail is lined with a colorful variety of mushrooms and nature is at its most beautiful.
We took photos of some mushrooms. Unfortunately, we don't know anything about mushrooms, so we still don't know what they are. We would be very happy to hear your opinion in the comments!
