Why adventure world? As if the hike through the Au wasn’t enough of an experience, you will find one of the last functioning timber drifts in Central Europe, a journeyman’s smith’s house, a Venetian plank saw from 1907, an old grain mill and finally a fish farm.
If you want, you can also reward yourself at the Herrenhaus snack bar after the hike – also with the aforementioned farmed fish.
We can wholeheartedly recommend this hike for young and old, regardless of whether you only do one way or the complete loop.
