Bad Aussee is a spa town with 4830 inhabitants in Styria, in the Styrian Salzkammergut. Bad Aussee is considered the capital of the Ausseerland region.
The main economic factor is tourism: classic summer holidays (health resort since 1868) and winter sports (Loser ski area). The daffodil festival takes place at the end of May and attracts around 25,000 visitors every year.
