About Hopsiland
At the base of the inclined train Hopsi Express, a unique world for families awaits: Hopsiland. Since 1982, Hopsi, the mascot of the World Championships, has been the favorite of the little guests. His realm lies high on the Planai: Hopsiland – a mountain playground fulfilling all wishes for fun and adventure.
At the exit of the cable car, a warm welcome from Hopsi awaits you. Here, you’ll also find his first playground equipped with swings, slides, a shaded sandbox, and seating for adults!
The Ball Tracks
To avoid straining the little legs too much, the hiking adventure starts with exciting ball tracks. You can get the authentic Hopsi ball either at the Planai Info Point at the cable car’s valley station or directly on the mountain at Hopsi Express. Of course, you can also bring your own.
Alpine Motor Skills Park: Skill Required
In the Alpine Motor Skills Park, it’s all about skill. Here, you’ll balance on milk stools and cans, swing along the cow, and maintain balance on rakes or scythes.
Kasalm & Hopsi Express
Here, Hopsi, the mascot, has built a small alpine hut called “Kasalm.” It houses an indoor ball track and slide, ensuring uninterrupted fun even in wet weather. For those who only want to complete half of the circular route, Hopsi Express offers a convenient return to the cable car’s mountain station.
Tip: On busy days, plan your return in time, as the cable car only accommodates 14 people and takes quite a while.
The North Pole Play Station: Up High with Guaranteed Fun
The brand-new play station “North Pole” stretches over eight meters in height. A themed ball track runs through multiple levels, while a fun slide ensures the way back down.
In the Weitmoos area, you’ll find more amusing play and movement stations like rabbit long jump, trampoline, race slides, and alpine golf.
Water World
When summer heats up, the Water World</ strong> promises cooling on the mountain: store water, cool your toes in mountain water, and parents can comfortably watch from the many benches. The cozy terrace of the Märchenwiesenhütte is also here – refreshments are guaranteed!
Restaurants & Huts: Culinary Delight in Hopsiland
Enjoy Styrian delicacies and Austrian coziness in one of the six restaurants and huts directly in Hopsiland. Relax on the terrace and watch the children play.
