General information about Hopsiland
At the foot of the Hopsi-Express funicular, a unique world for families awaits you: Hopsiland. In 1982, Hopsi, the mascot of the World Cup, the big favorite of the little guests. High up on the Planai lies his kingdom: the “Hopsiland” – a mountain playground that fulfills all wishes for fun and adventure:
A warm welcome from Hopsi awaits you at the exit of the gondola. Here you will also find his first playground, equipped with swings, slides, a shady sandpit and of course seating for the adults!
The ball tracks
In order not to put too much strain on little legs, the hiking fun starts with exciting ball runs. You can get the authentic Hopsi ball either at the Planai Infopoint at the valley station of the gondola or directly on the mountain at the Hopsi Express. Of course, you can also take your own.
Almmotorik-Park: Skill required
The Alpine Motor Skills Park is all about skill. Here you balance on milk stools and milk cans, climb along the cow and keep your balance on rakes or scythes.
Kasalm & Hopsi Express
Here, Hopsi, the mascot, has built a small alpine pasture called “Kasalm”. This has an indoor ball track and slide, which ensure unadulterated fun even in wet weather. For those who only want to complete half of the circular route, the Hopsi Express offers a comfortable return trip to the mountain station of the gondola.
Tip: on busy days you should plan your return in good time, as the cable car only holds 14 people and takes quite a long time.
The North Pole Play Station: High up with guaranteed fun
The brand new “North Pole” play station extends over eight meters in height. A themed ball track leads over several floors, while a fun slide takes you back down.
In the Weitmoos area you will find other fun play and exercise stations such as rabbit long jump, trampoline, racing slides and alpine golf.
Water world
When it gets really hot in summer, the Water world Cooling off on the mountain: Dam up the water, cool your toes in the mountain water and mom and dad can watch comfortably from the many benches. Here you will also find the cozy terrace of the Fairytale meadow hut – refreshment is also provided!
