Ski Amadé in general
Ski Amadé represents one of the largest winter sports areas in Europe and impresses with an impressive infrastructure totalling 270 ski lifts and cable cars. The region extends over 25 villages, all nestled in the picturesque landscapes of the Austrian provinces of Salzburg and Styria. In addition to these two regions, the Dachstein ski area also plays a role, whose influence extends as far as the province of Upper Austria. The diversity of Ski Amadé is not only reflected in the numerous skiing options, but also in the authentic Alpine scenery, which attracts winter sports enthusiasts from all over the world.
Ski Amadé and its partner regions jointly manage around 760 kilometres of slopeswhich cover 356 different pistes. Of this total network, 90 % or 684 kilometres are suitable for artificial snowmaking. The infrastructure comprises a total of 270 lifts and cable cars, including 47 gondola lifts, 90 chairlifts, 81 T-bar lifts and 52 practice lifts. This diverse range of ascent options offers a total transport capacity of an impressive 365,000 people per hour.
The Schladming-Dachstein Region

Planai, 1906m
The Planai, with an altitude of 1906 metres, is not only a striking mountain in the Schladming-Dachstein region, but also an important part of the Ski Amadé. Here you will not only find challenging pistes, but also an impressive connection to the Dachstein-Schladming region. Away from the ski season, the Planai offers impressive alpine surroundings for hikers and nature lovers. For children there is the children's paradise Hopsiland.
Hochwurzen, 1850m
The Hochwurzen, at 1850 metres above sea level, is an attractive mountain for snowboarders and skiers. The wide pistes and breathtaking views make it a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. In addition to winter activities, the Hochwurzen offers hiking trails and an impressive alpine backdrop in summer.
Reiteralm
The Reiteralm presents itself as a versatile ski area with an enormous variety of pistes. Both experienced skiers and families with children will find the right slopes here. The Reiteralm offers more than just skiing opportunities; it is also a place for hikes and excursions into nature, especially in the warmer months.
Hauser Kaibling
Hauser Kaibling is characterised by modern lift facilities and is particularly family-friendly. With a variety of pistes of different levels of difficulty, the mountain is suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. Away from the pistes, Hauser Kaibling also offers numerous opportunities for outdoor activities and enjoying nature in summer.
