Als wir ankommen, finden gerade die berühmten “Kaisertage” statt. Rund um den 18. August steht Bad Ischl ganz im Zeichen des Geburtstages von Kaiser Franz Joseph I. Aus diesem Anlass finden in der Kaiserstadt in diesem Zeitraum zahlreiche Festivitäten statt. Immer wieder trifft man auf verkleidete Persönlichkeiten.
Highlights in Bad Ischl:
- Kaiservilla mit Kaiserpark: Hier in der Villa setzte verbrachte Kaiser Franz Joseph l seine Sommermonate. 1914 setzte er seine Unterschrift unter die Kriegserklärung an Serbien, aus welcher sich der Erste Weltkrieg entwickelte.
- Konditorei Zauner: innerhalb von 300 Metern gibt es gleich 2 Filialen dieser berühmten berühmte ehemalige k.u.k. Hof-Zuckerbäckerei (Pfarrgasse 7 und Hasnerallee 2)
- Die Katrin: fast direkt aus der Stadt führt die Seilbahn auf diesen Berg, der sich perfekt zum Wandern eignet. Hier findet ihr unseren Erfahrungsbericht.

When we arrive, the famous “Kaisertage” are taking place. Around August 18, Bad Ischl is all about the birthday of Emperor Franz Joseph I. To mark the occasion, numerous festivities are held in the imperial city during this period. Again and again one meets disguised personalities.

- Confectionery Zauner: within 300 meters there are 2 branches of this famous former k.u.k. Hof confectionery (Pfarrgasse 7 and Hasnerallee 2)
